Meet our Staff

Jacqui was born and raised in Palmyra, a small town in upstate NY. Although she has been in the restaurant industry the majority of her life, she has always had a special love for animals. Through fostering, adopting, volunteering and owning her own pets she has been able to continue her passion. Her dogs T’Chaka and Zuri and her cat Tucker take up the majority of her time outside of The Animal Eye Institute but she enjoys exploring new restaurants, reading and spending time with family and friends when she’s not at work.

Shannon was born and raised in Otisville, New York. She attended the State University of Delhi and graduated with her degree in Veterinary Technology. She has since worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician for almost a decade. She has experience working with all types of animals including small animals, exotics, wildlife and farm animals. In her spare time, she enjoys making memories with her two children, husband, and big old mutt, Tucker.

Alex was born and raised in Greenville, SC, but moved to Charleston in 2023. She has been in the veterinary field as a Customer Service Representative since 2020, but has since furthered her knowledge and career and is now an assistant. She loves her two dogs Lucy and Maverick, and her cat Linux. She enjoys spending time in the mountains, as well as reading, and also has a passion for cars.
